Ive never dealt with a group of people that should be looking out for there residents but in truth are currupt beyond all reason. The city had given direction to Melcor to remove the trees that were on the back of my property. They removed 100 plus 40 tall trees half of which were on my property and a fence. This was to develop the field I backed on to. When I called the Rcmp they came out and said there is no criminal intent aka corrupt paid by the city. Then a city official visits me with an Rcmp member. Steven chipchase. He provides me with a document and he points where it says the city must fix as original or compensate for the damage and reasures me the city is looking out for its residents. 7 months later and countless hours and stress, Dan Hogarth from the city sent a letter today stating they take no responsibility for the damages and offer nothing. Why cant people ever do the right thing, I just want my property fixed best as possible not looking for a cash payout. If someone reads this and cares please contact me, although Ive asked my councillor to call me twice and never heard back so I dont expect much. Im ready to move out of this city Ive been apart of for 26 years. Guess Ill see you in court.

351$ for my permit to build a garage plus 3200$ for my property tax. Spruce grove is THE WORST place to live financially. This is also after I was told, 300$ worst case scenario AND its going to take 4 WEEKS. Ill never suggest to anyone to move to this place. Cops around our place are more concerned giving tickets to the residence rather then finding whos breaking into our vehicles and garages. I could go on all day but bottom line. MISTAKE MOVING HERE. do your research and avoid this hole at all cost.
