This is the worst place and I would not recommend this place to anyone who values their time. Not only are the staff unhelpful but every damn visit Im stuck waiting in the waiting area for an hour. I have work and I have kids to take care of yet they make me wait an hour every time. This is pathetic and a poor excuse for a business. im not the only person who thinks this. Everybody in the waiting area also HAD TO WAIT A DAMN HOUR. This is pathetic and inexcusable. Spend your money somewhere that respects you and your time.

We have used The Smile Spot for both or our daughters. We are very pleased with the service and expertise of the staff. Everyone is kind and welcoming and Dr. Miles is very knowledgable. Thank you!

Great service, friendly staff. They also fixed my son's broken tooth free of charge after a different dentist tried unsuccessfully twice to repair it. The tooth is still intact! And after having braces, my son's teeth look amazing. Excellent work Smile Spot!

Today I took my 10 year old daughter to the orthodontist and she left completely traumatized. After about 25-30 min of the dental assistants removing the old appliance and trying to fit metal bands around her teeth with no success and her gums raw and bleeding Dr.Miles stepped in to try. Even though she was in pain from all their attempts she did a great job of holding still while they worked. Dr. Miles started working on her mouth and accidentally dropped a band down her throat which she gagged out. He then successfully installed the bands. Then he started to put the appliance in and she screamed in pain saying it was digging into the back of her throat. He replied " No it's not, no it's not, your fine." She is normally super calm and has never had any issues with anyone working on her mouth previously. She is the farthest thing from a drama queen so I knew it was really hurting. I had to step in and ask him to stop. I then stood by her head calming her down and holding her hand so Dr. Miles could try again. Standing above her head I could now see into her mouth as he worked. He attempted it again and I was horrified to see two sharp metal ends of the appliance jam into the back of her throat into the soft part of her flesh and as he pulled on the appliance it pulled on the flesh causing it to bleed. She screamed in pain again and I immediately told him to stop. He said he saw where it was catching her flesh and apologized. She was crying uncontrolably by this point and I was so angry I told him we were not trying again and we left. I understand that sometimes mistakes happen but when a child is screaming in pain and they are impatiently told that they are fine and ignored that is crossing the line. I should also mention that my daughter had been complaining of sore gums around the bands of the previous appliance and we were told to rinse with salt water and she cleaned it diligently which didn't help. So I asked the assistant how her gums looked after the appliance was removed and she said fine. I took a look in her mouth and her gums looked torn up and bleeding. The assistant said she needed to dig out some glue that was imbedded in her gums which explains why she had been so sore. When I told Dr.Miles about the imbedded glue he brushed it off and said her gums were sore from food not getting cleaned out properly. I assured him of her diligent attention to cleaning it and rinsing with salt water and he just gave me the same answer again: it was food. Needless to say, we will not be going back.

My son has been coming to the Smile Spot for his braces over the last couple years. Weve had a great experience, and the staff are awesome!
